Born as the runt of the litter, Ven defies against normalcy's expectations as his stubbornness earns him a place alongside the other proud Wood-Warders. Such pride were however short-lived when his rashness incurred punishments for inflicting injuries upon his fellow tribemates. The tip of their perfect long ears was gnawed off; a manifestation of his spite for the biased humiliation that he was subjected to.The consequences merely piqued his interest for the world beyond the Forest which was amplified by the tales of the Prisoners who called themselves as 'Adventurers'. Further fueled by the anguish he harbored towards his duties relating to repopulation, Ven decided to play along with the role of a 'Fool' and left the Forest on the day he finally come of age - never ever fulfilling his supposed responsibilities.Their ways never felt 'right' for him, mayhaps it was never meant to be.

Free and no longer bounded by the shackles of rules, Ven strongly believed that this is the peak of his life as he wandered the land of Eorzea - relishing in bounties of adventures which awaits him with no restrictions... other than the lack of existing coffer to provide for himself. Garnering experiences became his main focal point as he stayed at each major city for a generous amount of time to polish his knowledge and dissipate his veil of ignorance.Once a clueless wanderer with the lack of basic street-smarts, he is now no longer a stranger to schemes and are capable of calling out bluffs with ease overtime - if his naivety allows it. Spending the bulk of his years on self-improvement eventually paid off as he eventually joined the Company of Heroes with other experienced mercenaries to conquer quests for the thrill, unlike most who seek fame & fortune.Alas, all good things must come to an end when news of the impending Seventh Umbral Calamity sparked fear and flood of unease began washing over the people of Eorzea. With protective instincts as a former Warder of the Wood, Ven chose to volunteer his aid.

Repeat 'a lie' often enough and it becomes 'the truth'.Ven learnt that the world can be vile in the cruelest way ever as his sacrifice was returned with defamation and abandonment from his squad leader and his first sweetheart. Despite the fact that he suffered a mortal wound on his right hand due to the leader's negligence and incapability to prevent a party meltdown. They will have him live a lie and suffer as a scapegoat to protect their own honor - painting a story where Ven was a coward who attempted to flee on his own but was interjected by Karma."Well deserved for an arrogant fool."A fool he can be, but he is not foolish enough to perish as an accused. With his stubbornness as his redeeming trait, Ven's survivalist instincts triggered; allowing his adrenaline to mute the pain and carry his battered back to camp for assistance.
